American Studies provides a survey of the development and growth of the American nation from exploration to the Civil War. American Studies addresses the concepts of historical chronology by studying selected social studies themes during this monumental period in our nation's history. The course will involve role playing, group activities, note-taking, report writing, oral presentations, class research, textbook reading, and test taking in order to examine our country's rich history.
